Production
The production process is divided into two main groups of actions: quality control (essential) and maintenance of quality and high standards of machinery operation. The scope of the abovementioned actions includes:maintenance of fixed parameters, i.e. invariable diameters and thickness level on the whole length of an element;
- maintenance of optimum technical level of the machinery, i.e. precise cut depending on sharpness of the cutting components, monitoring of machinery wear, etc.;
- strictest control of the production process quality, i.e. checking whether everything is exactly made to order;
- current selection of finished products and thorough verification of quality, which means, among others, elimination of faulty products with apparent defects resulted from abrasion;
- frequent improvement of the level of knowledge and professional training of the Konar staff, especially supervisors and production personnel;
- drying the wood in modern, computer controlled chambers in accordance with the quality standards in force;
- if a customer requires – wood impregnation by immersion with the use of the most innovative wood impregnates the maximize its insect and damage resistance;
- wood scraping – against a customer’s order
