Raw material preparation
Raw material selection criteria:
- density of the timber,
- “knotless” timber,
- no mechanical faults/defects,
- no insects and other pests,
- lack of structural and biological defects – blue stains, decay, fungi, etc.
Raw material selection – optimum dimensions and cross-sections:
Each piece of raw material (wood) is thoroughly examined in respect of its fitness for use, i.e. in respect of execution of individual orders (cross-section), in respect of removal of such defects as oflis, as well as in respect of optimisation of length and diameter of the raw material selected to execute an order is setting competitive prices – very good prices (the best market proportion between quality and price).
